I ran downstairs with my suitcases packed I put them in the back of my dads mini van. Today was the day Ive been working so hard in high school for. Im go to college but not just any college Im going to Juilliard : the school for modeling, design, and the performing arts in California! (fake school might change name) Ah California, the beautiful, warm and sunshine state. I cant wait to get there and meet Chelseas new roommates: demi and selena and the rest of her new friends, I hope they like me because were going to be living together until I can afford a place of my own. I-
(her thought was interrupted by someone calling her name)




Dad: Nicole! What are you doing just standing there? You have a plane to catch in an hour so come on.
Mom: oh brad stop yelling at her (starting to cry) my baby doesnt want to leave cant you see that (walking towards Nicole crying) sweetie, its ok if you changed your mind and want to go to school here.
Dad: as much money as that school cost you can your bet ass she going (Nicoles parents start to argue but she breaks it up)
N: mom Im going and theres nothing you can say to keep me here. Mommy(staring to cry) I love you and I will miss you very much and daddy Im ready to go.
Mom: I love you too sweetie Im just going to miss you thats all
Dad: (turning to his wife) honey Im sorry for yelling, can you ever forgive me?
Mom: nope! (bursting into laughter) you know I cant stay mad at you
(they kiss and make up. They all got in the car and drove Nicole to the airport)
{AT THE AIRPORT}
N- bye mommy (hugs her mom)
Mom- bye sweetie, I want you to call me twice a day and come home every holiday. Ok sweetie
N: ok mommy I promise.(turns to her dad) bye daddy(hugs him)
Dad: bye baby, I love you make sure you do everything your mama said alright (starting to cry)
N: bye-bye daddy and bye-bye mommy, I love you!
Dad and mom: bye-bye sweetie
(Nicole gets on the plane and flies to California)
{WITH CHELSEA AND SELENA}
C- now that was a great nap
S- yea it shouldve been you were out for like 3 hours. Why are you so tired anyway?
C- oh me and demi were out getin our party on till like 2 in the morning
S- you guys went clubin without me! Where was I?
C- you and David went out on a date or something right ?
S- (looking down and sad) oh yea we had a date if you can call it that
C- (sees selena looking sad) whats wrong selena
S- its just that David doesnt spend time with me anymore. Hes acting so different I dont even know who he is anymore.
C- Have you tried talking to him about how you feel.
S- I tried! but he doesnt stay around to long for us to talk about.
(in the mist of their conversation, Chelsea notices the time and cuts selena off)
S- we-
C- Oh shit! I got to go pick up my friend Nicole. Im sorry can we finish this later?
S- yea sure
C- ok well talk to you later!(runs out the door)
{WITH NICOLE}
(Nicole is sitting on a bench and eating French fries wait on Chelsea to pick her when her cell phone starts ringing its Chelsea)
N - where are you?
C - Im on my way Im so sorry I over slept
N-over slept but its only 3:30?
C - yea but I was tired
N - (starts laughing)
C - what?
N -nothing just you being you right?
C - (laughing) thats all I can be
N - ok see you when you get here
C - no need Im already here, turn around
N-(Nicole turns around and sees Chelsea standing behind her) Chelsea!
C -Nicole!
(they ran to one another and hug each other)
C -you havent changed a bit
N- but you sure have. You got highlights and your hair is so much longer!
C- what do you think? I got it done 2 weeks ago.
N- you look amazing!
C- thanks
