I played the EVE trial. It is fun. . .but lengthy. If you run out of money, and your ship is destroyed, you are doomed. I also played the WOW trial, it is just plain boring, I started then quit about 8 minutes later.
not rly xD happened to me about 3 times now, that I helped someone who was shot to structure and the fleet that came acout a minte later thanked me...
Or you can LEARN to play the game and figure out how to get by. Join a corp with some resources, it's not like you're forced to die, it's your own fault. Find someone with a blockade runner for crying out loud.
Yes I have. Most prats don't take the time to scan you. Most have a shoot first, scan later approach. And most prats don't use local, good ones at least.
It happened to me...warped into a belt, a hulk was being attacked by an ishkur and an incursus, both -10.0, but noobs...I blew them up with my Ishkur, and when his friends warped in, they let me hang arround with them for the rest of the day.
...you decide to be the hero and kill the rats and afterwards the miner. after looting him you get camped in station for 2 hours by his pissed off friends.
I can show you one that can handle 30k on a budget only a small fraction of WoW's.
Theres no reason wow couldn't have much much larger servers, if not a single shard.
On a side note, I'm confident that 11m number is far too high, just about everyone I know who played quit sometime between now and when they realized blizzard was getting lazy with content.
