    You're looking at it all wrong. Borderlands 2, for example, exposed this band to gamers by choosing Short Change Hero for it's title theme. Interested people Youtubed it, and some commented on where they originally heard it. Now fans of the band can buy Borderlands 2 after seeing said Youtube comments and tell Claptrap that they heard about the game from The Heavy. A beautiful cycle of neverending awesome. Everyone wins.

    Actually, every band in a music video is lip syncing because you have to do multiple takes and cuts in a music video. Impossible to make the song come out sounding right otherwise.
