I stumbled upon your work via a google search for Woola. I'm SO excited about your movie(s)!! The JCOM series is one of my very favorites. Your work so far is lovely! You have me chomping at the bit for more. :)

awesome

I rather like it. My own mental image has shorter legs and arms. But since I can't animate jack, much less tars, your mental image counts for more than mine does.
But then again, I like this, so cool.

Thanks fellas. Yah, my comrads on the JCOM 2012 blog on IMDB are all anxious to see Disney's adaptation, but I will be working on an adaptation that is a bit more true to the original books. Next up, I will be working on rigging John Carter, some thoats, and making a thark hatchery so I can make a short animation of that first major scene in book 1. I have M/F giant white apes, as well as a work in progress Woola to rig also. Gotta squeeze it in along side animation school assignments. :P

This is an animation test I did after rigging my character with The Setup Machine. After years of frustration trying to learn rigging, a new animation friend of mine suggested I give TSM a try. Such a great Maya plug-in. I highly recommend it.
