Temple of Elemental Evil Solo - Part 11 (To the Elemental Nodes)

The lone cleric makes his way back to the temple. Foresight shows that I should have rested in the safe area of the temple (that leads to the Air Temple). Oh well. =)

On the fourth floor of the temple there is a trap (if using Circle of the Eight module) which can be disarmed by making the nearby trolls go down. Once you get the password just coup de grace them to death. Also, the Commander of the Guards sometimes walks around near the trolls and has a useful set of boots (Boots of Haste), but much to my dismay I never got to use them as I couldn't identify them.

Far to the northwest lies Hederak, High Priest of the Temple of Elemental Evil. In this run, fighting him is among the most challenging things, but he also comes with a diplomacy option where he will let you go, so long as you don't speak with him again.

With this done it is time to go on to the 4 Elemental Nodes (to complete the Orb of Golden Death), and then Zuggtmoy!

Nice video. I think you couldn't use that wand because you didn't have any points in Use Magic Device.
