Their sound changed dramatically after the Shake It 7" and Rock De Puta Mierda EP. I seem to recall reading an interview which said that once they found an old farfisa and started playing around with it, everything changed.

Oh I KNOW THAT!!!! LOL. "Over 'Fore It Started," "Spirit," "From The Bughouse," "My Heart Is Breaking Down," etc., etc. I guess the guys' were just having some fun in this vid. I know "Born Cool" is WAY early in their carrer, like from their first E.P. back in '95 or so.
