Joselu

After taking a look Barcelona B starlets Jonathan Soriano, Nolito and Gerard Deulofeu, it's Real Madrid II striker Jose Luis Sanmartin Mato - nicknamed Joselu - who has caught our eye recently.

21-year-old German-born Joselu developed at Celta de Vigo's youth academy and appeared in 84 matches for the Celta B side.

His good performances paved the way to the senior Celta team, for which he made 24 outings over the course of the 2009/2010 campaign.

Real Madrid were among many clubs to spot the 1.91m-tall talent, but they acted first to sign him for a fee of €1.5m.

He was immediately loaned back to Celta before heading to the Real Madrid II side this season, where he has so far netted 14 goals in 33 appearances, including seven goals in his last 10 showings.

His good performances helped the young Real Madrid side achieve third spot in Group 1 of the Segunda B division and claim a place in the promotion play-offs.

Joselu played for Spain's U-19, U-20 and U-21 sides and has scored a total of four goals in 16 appearances for the young national teams.

Jose Mourinho is clearly aware of Joselu 's potential as he has called him up for several of Real Madrid's pre-season friendlies last summer.

The 21-year-old striker combines technique and power; he has an excellent first touch and is capable of scoring with both feet, while he also boasts fantastic aerial ability.
