it would be kind of NICE, if they overhauled the grafiks engine. but its ok. i can live without it. i can face the grim fact bravely like any real reet on a real rubika would. what really bothered me is, after coming back from 5 yrs of slumber, AO client fails to recognize my video graphiks array waddafakk
i mean, it shud. because it used to. 5yrs ago, and 8?yrs ago. it run so fine.

Well, at tl7 (205+) we got ALOT of raids/todo list.
And the raid system is great now. They launched instances in some of the old content and added new. If you think AO is hard to play or booring. Then you havent played it for real. AO is like a different game now. When the new Engine is releasing they should call it AO2 .

This is so true. Also, even if they did make the game prettier, the controls would still feel awkward compared to more modern MMO's. I miss AO, I cut my MMO teeth on AO but in the end, it just got boring. Funcom needs to overhaul a lot of the game play issues but at least they're introducing more end game content. When are they going to create an actual raid system so that kill teams aren't as vital?

Most likely this summer (2009). Although, if this is what you need to play AO, you might as well don't play it at all, or you will just end up disappointed (again) when you are done drooling over the new graphics engine.
I personally still like AO. My main issue with it, is the mix of DX7 and DX8, causing the game client to not detect my graphics card properly.
Believe it or not:
This game runs BEST on OLD graphics cards. The new graphics engine will probably fix this problem. We hope.
