It's a social thing in the ordinary street bars and nothing special. After spitting out the red juice its like chewing gum. But you won't find better dice games anywhere. Taipei is a magical city; a bit like bladerunner with loads of cash. Fantastic food, fantastic people and thankfully very few English tourists. Snake alley is a dream. Go on and do the snake ceremony during the festival of the moon when the Chinese are on holiday and are horrified by it. This is old China and wonderful.
