But the Ruthenians WERE Orthodox until the Union of Uzhorhod in 1626.. but call it whichever you like. One day there will again be no distinction between "Orthodox" and "Catholic"
Carpatho-Rusyn chant--"prostopenije" chant. Distinct from Serbian chant. Carpatho-Rusyn chant is used in eastern Slovakia, Ukraine and surrounding areas, and in other places where Ruthenians settled. Yes, it's Old Church Slavonic.

@magulinu It is not Orthodox. It is Catholic. The Catholic Church has Eastern rites too, you know, and this a Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite.
