@Peaux Do you know that Sylvio Gualda and Xenakis are great friend and colleague in the same time, my teacher was study in france when Gualda premiered this piece. They came up a solution called "bass floor tom", It's a custom-made drum which about 30 inch deep (tall) and 20 inch diameter. I used in my concert too, please check my channel. AND I DO BELIEVE THERE ARE NO GOOGLE IN 1988, THEY DID DEAL THE INSTRUMENT PROBLEM TOGETHER.

@Peaux The Best way to deal with this sort of problem is sticking to what your brain tells you. You can't ask google on how to lead your life either ;)

@Peaux rofl
Excellent performance, although, the instrumentation for A isn't exactly what is specified in the score, it seems as though you're using the tumba as the highest tom, and the low tom you used in B as the second bassdrum, is that correct? I suppose that's useful for ease of set up purposes, but in general I find it best to stick to the written instructions, especially regarding instrumentation. Excellent execution though, very accurate and musical.

Yeah, I originally learned it with two bass drums, but after toiling with the massive spread between playing zones I decided to use a different type of "grosse caisse." I mean, google translator says it means "large drum." Google is also clearly the authority on Xenakis. How did Sylvio Gualda deal with his problems? Did he ask the composer? No. Google.

That was great, thanks for the upload, always liked this piece.
By the way, i was wondering can you play on a drumkit, i mean you probably can but is it much diffrent from playing percussion instruments?

you can do whatever you like as long as you keep the specifics of the score in mind : )
