I fell in love with Lao music during my first few visits to Thailand. It is unique and beautiful. Siriporn is one of the few singers that give me goose bumps (english) or Phawng Khohn(?) (thai) when I hear her. She became my instant favorite. Kuhn Tai is nearly as talented, and it is a pleasure to see that young Isaan singers are continuing to master this difficult and beautiful music. I hope to see her in concert some day when I am there.
