Activists Disrupt Karl Rove's Speech at Goucher College

On the evening of Sept. 16, 2009, a protest action was staged at Goucher College in Towson, MD, just north of Baltimore City, with respect to the appearance of Karl Rove on campus, as a guest speaker. Rove, aka "Dubya's Brain," was a senior advisor, (2001-07), to then President, George W. Bush. He is suspected of participating in a White House-based cabal, (WHIG), which helped to launch the immoral and illegal Iraq War. Just as Rove was being introduced, at least three activists stood up in the audience and denounced him for his serial wrong doings. They were quickly escorted out of the auditorium by the police and instructed not to return. As far as this observer knows, the police took down their names, but the protesters were not arrested. According to a press release of the ANSWER Coalition, "Rove should be on trial," for not only his role in pushing the Iraq War, but for also implementing "a system of torture and secret prisons; [for] racial and religious profiling; and for massive spying on the people in this country." Its funny when Rove came to my college campus and we protested outside, they actually had a free speech zone can you believe that. Not to say that we stayed within the free speech zone. How are you standing for free speech if you tell people to leave when they speak out? How is it free speech if police escort you out of the room?

Yeah so Karl Rove came to my school a week ago and he was not well received. Around 80 people protested outside the event with dozens more inside doing their own things. Somewhere around 30 people were escorted out. Several by force.

So what?? They stole 10 years worth of military budgets and the next day Hani Hanjour, who couldn't fly a single engine Cessna, did a high speed backward barrel roll during a five mile descending dive, leveled out a grass top level and plunged into the accountants who discovered the the theft. Now, nobody in govt will admit the theft ever occurred. Total amnesia.
