the whole thing is pretty wizard of oz-ish...the black and white changing to color, the field of poppies, the brick road, the emerald city in the background, Elton John popping in in the style of Glinda the good witch...I don't know who's the lion, the tin man, and the scare crow, though..maybe ryan's the tin man looking for a heart?

Have you thought about analyzing the analysis Sir Elton may have given Mr Ryan with his magic wand or does it end when Adam DURitz appears? I too have pondered sir elton's fairyness and all its implications given the symbolic gesture in the manner he waves his wand at Mr Ryan. I think there is a lot more to this and it needs to be thought about and discussed with an inner voice that is afraid of having the wand waived at him/me. Thoughts?
