How To: Live Stream on YouTube with a Hauppauge HDPVR

In this video I show you how to live stream a Hauppauge HDPVR capture card on YouTube using XSplit and Flash Media Live Encoder.

Update: A lot of people are having problems with their video being upside down. The solution is to right click on the video in xsplit, go to position, then 3D, then go to X and change it from 0 to 180 - it should now be flipped over. Big thanks to http://www.youtube.com/EPiCSnipers for finding this out.

*Note: As of right now YouTube has disabled the record/archive feature (which it plans to bring back at a later time)

**This tutorial should also apply to other streaming sites like JustinTV or UStream. The only difference is the server info you input in FMLE - most of the time you get that info by downloading a FMLE profile from your streaming site.
