Lipno

Největší umělé jezero v České republice je v létě vyhledávaným místem pro rekreaci a vodní sporty. V zimě si na zamrzlé hladině užívají příznivci ledního jachtingu a bruslení, lyžařské středisko je vhodné i pro rodiny s dětmi. K dispozici je i krytý aquaworld, golf, bobová dráha, camping, cyklostezky, přístaviště pro lodě, půjčovny sportovních potřeb. Každoročně tu přibývají nové hotely, penziony a ubytovny. Lipno je cílem turistů z celé Evropy a východiskem pro výlety do lesnatého okolí Chráněné krajinné oblasti Šumava.

In summertime Lipno, the biggest artificial lake in the Czech Republic, is one of the most popular destinations for recreation and water sports. Fans of ice yachting and skating can enjoy the wonders of the lake in winter. The nearby ski centre is perfect for families with children. You can have great fun in the sheltered swimming pool, Aquaworld: you can practice your golf, enjoy the bob-sleigh track, as well as camping, cycling and boating. Sporting equipment is also available for rental. New hotels, pensions and hostels are being built every year.
Tourists from all over Europe visit lake Lipno and enjoy the beautiful walks in the forest of the protected reserve area of the Šumava mountains.

Grösste Talsperre in der Tschechischen Republik zählt im Sommer zu den meist gefragten Erholungs- und Wassersportgebieten. Im Winter geniessen die eingefrorene Wasserfläche die Eissegel- und Eislauffans und auch das Skizentrum bietet für Familien mit Kindern hervorragende Möglichkeiten. Auch eine überdachte Aqua-World, ein Golfplatz, Schlittenbahn, Camping, Radwege, Hafenanlage oder Verleih von Sportartikeln stehen den Besuchern zur Verfügung. Von Jahr zu Jahr nimmt auch die Zahl von Hotels, Pensionen und Herbergen zu.
Lipno ist damit längst zum Zielort von Touristen aus ganz Europa und zum Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Waldgebiete der naturgeschützten Landschaft von Šumava (Böhmerwald) geworden.
