I couldn't put down the Vampire Academy series either. You might check out "The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane" by Katherine Howe. It is about witchcraft, but is told differently. The author is related to 2 women accused of being witches during the Salem Witch Trials! So, it goes from the past to the present. The main character is doing research for her grad thesis and comes across some interesting things in a family home that send her on a search. I couldn't put it down.

@SillyMando2008 I like detail . . . but my problem is that I get impatient and can't wait for the story to unfold. I am really bad with suspense and surprises :)
