  • you have a very beautiful tone

  • Sorry, I have to agree with Rexicano's sentiments even if not the way he/she put it originally!

Each instrument has it's own properties, granted, but I would challenge the video author to come up with a more 'bluesy' pattern of notes - I think there is scope for plenty more than she has done and I don't personally find the outcome too helpful..

  • Off-topic: OMG, you have written "Brazilian" with "s", like us! ;)

You're right; he always was singing among some of the best brazilian musicians. I don't know nothing about what is happening with Milton's band; maybe the global financial crisis has forced him to hire some cheaper musicians :)

If you like brazilian music, try some other MPB (brazilian popular music) artists, like Jorge Ben Jor, Tim Maia, Djavan and Chico Buarque. You might find something new to enjoy.

  • I WAS BEING SOFT!

Sorry to ruffle your Brasilian feathers but this was awful and if it's going to be here pretending to be worth something—then I'm going to complain.

Hey, I just saw Milton Nascimento two weeks ago; I love him. but HIS BAND except for the drummer was TERRIBLE.

Those Jobim players were really bad. MIlton always had a great band before. WTF?

  • I hate to see how rude people tend to be on YouTube comments. It's your right to like or dislike this video, but please, try to do it "softly".

I don't expect dozens of thirty-second and sixty-fourth notes on a flute solo, as usually you hear on a guitar solo. Each instrument has it's own properties, it's own way.

  • Terrible.

Sounds like a computer playing music.

If this is Blues then I'm a green Martian.
