Complaint filed in Federal Court - Southern District with Index # 11CV4249 and assigned to Judge Marrero names Michael A. Palazzo as a defendant in a Trademark Infringement Lawsuit. Officer Palazzo has been on sick leave and 'unable to testify due to health reasons' though is reported to have been retained to attend Rescue Ink events prior to the filing of this complaint. He was also one of the highest paid Nassau County cops, making approx. $200K/yr. and had +/- 2 years off. Where was he?

In addition, if you have made any donations to Rescue Ink, please be advised that there was, at one time, a 501(c)3 charity coupled with 2 non-charity companies all with similar names. Make sure your check was deposited to the charity or your donation could be disallowed by the IRS. Any check could potentially have been posted to any of the three accounts. All info is via public records from US Federal Court documents. This is not a joke.

ANYONE WHO HAS SEEN MICHAEL PALAZZO AT ANY EVENTS FOR RESCUE INK PLEASE POST. Your help will be forwarded to the Nassau County PD Internal Affairs Department. Palazzo has been out on sick leave and was named as a defendent in a Federal Trademark Infringement Lawsuit and given a Cease & Desist Letter in June of 2011 before the suit was brought. Any information would be greatly helpful as Officer Palazzo is needed to testify in DWI arrests, but has defendents waiting 3 years for hearings.

Too bad they arent even a reputable 501c3 ..per what was once their website:Please be advised that Rescue Ink will no longer be accepting donations as a 501(c)3 organization and a decision was made to close the Rescue Ink Foundation. In the interest of helping the animals and addressing abuse, we request that any donations you would have provided the Rescue Ink Foundation be given to a reputable 501(c)3 organization which will use the monies accordingly and are approved by the US Government.
