I personally don't like her music but I do have a lot of respect for her, maybe now her fans will start to realise really amazing music

She's always been up front about who her heroes and influences were, and Springsteen was right up there. Props for her unrestrained and deferential nod to a legend...in a few years she will be accorded the same by another emerging genius.

@Sage80 Try thinking where the joke will be say... even 10 years down the road... not an amazing 40 years of epic lyrics, artists, musicians, and fan base ...and still going on strong . Hope this works for you.

If you think about it, Lady Gaga has a lot in common with Bruce. Both have no problem expressing the truth, even though it involves personal risk. Both challenge the "status quo" and encourage us to look into our own souls and not follow the herd being brought to slaughter. Both take huge risks to express messages of equality and expose the lies that are bought and sold by the "powerful".
