  • To bad there is no one to play it. Crysis never really took off as more than a tech demo. Nice mods are made, but not played.

Maybe if they released Crysis Wars, kind like F.E.A.R Combat, you know? A free version, and mods worked with it.

  • @Mkilbride2599: actually, Casus Belli works with the trial version (free) of Crysis Wars.

  • @DouceurTube Just wondering is/will there be bots? or just pvp only?

  • @R3C0i11: multiplayer only. No bots available.

  • This is the kind of map that BF3 needed, not fucking Operation Metro, Seine Crossing, Grand Bazaar...FUCK YOU DICE...You let every Battlefield fan down with your SHIT map design.

  • Looks similar to bf3.

  • Is the sniping Hitscan or ballistically based? One way to make sure that you don't have all in the teams playing sniper......simply make sniping harder, you should still be able to one-shot an enemy in the chest, but it should be harder to actually hit him. So take in some bullet drop and more importantly bullet travel time.

  • @Mkilbride2599 Ah would you please google MWLL, while those are not Battlefield numbers I never lack people to play with in this mod. Honestly I haven't played Crysis Wars much, just MWLL. The mods for the crysis Wars are some of the most interesting shooter mods around.

  • Very good job!

  • @Mkilbride2599 The problem with Crysis Wars was its a hard game to master with a huge depth of game play that just put off the average gamer which flood to simple shooters like COD and Battfield series, Crytek tried to go mainstream with Crycopy 2 = Call Of Crysis, but failed they shoulda stuck with their original formula.

  • @Mkilbride2599 I just found 23 (not full, but nicely populated) servers. Also, that was their excuse so that they could go multi platform without too much of a blow back from teh PC crowd, not that it worked.

  • @Galient5 MP wise. The MP is dead as a Doornail; you're lucky if you can find half a server.

Crysis sold well; but funny you should mention that. Crytek themselves claim Crysis failed, sale wise. So yes, according them, it didn't take off.

I think it did very well for a New IP with a super unoptimized Engine. But eh, that's Crytek, never happy with really good results. :P

Just saying it's unlikely you'll ever see a full server for this.

  • @Mkilbride2599 So... 3 million copies sold isn't taking off?I don't know what is then.

  • This mod has everything, that I miss in BF3. Especialy the teamplay mechanics are much better and the weapon handling is awesome. Not to mention, that the BF3 maps are pure crap compared with the CB maps. I hate this arcadic CoD-ish weapon handling in BC2 and BF3. There is no recoil at all and the players only spray with full auto. And thank god in CB is no stupid quick kniving and quick scoping possible. This footage isn't really uptodate, since the recoil of the weapons is much heavier now.

  • @blasphemytard Considering this is an indie MOD to a 4-year old game developed by regular guys like you and me for absolutely free, I think it's pretty impressive. I wouldn't say it's better than BF3 but I wouldn't say it sucks either...
