@ShantyIrishman Mediocre metal guitarists Dimebag Darrell and Dave Mustaine can't play as well as Steve Vai or Michael Angelo Batio. Or Joe Satriani, or Yngwie Malmsteen, or John Petrucci, or Greg Howe, or Allan Holdsworth, the list goes on and on. And before you automatically bash me for pointing out that just because you like certain bands doesn't mean the guitarists in them are the best on the planet, look those guys up I mentioned and prepare to jizz your pants. @ShantyIrishman there's nothing wrong with liking metal but metal being the only genre you like is a phase most people outgrow by age 17. shit there are metal bands i like but it's not the only thing i listen to.
