This is a beautiful story of God's will and working everything for his glory. Dr. Wong's brother died and made God look so beautifully good. Even those doctors who where not Christians gave God glory that day.

Praise God. But it was sad to see the kids sitting there not realizing.. kinda blowing it off. Its one thing to grasp these things intellectually; and another thing to have them as realities in our life.

Not at all. What he means is that hundreds of missionaries came into japan which is a pagan nation, and in contrast there are millions of Christians in china thriving under persecution.
The surprising thing that there are more Christians in a persecuted place than in other places without persecution.
At least that's what I think he meant.
