jaimerai vraiment voir ce docu en entier!!ca a lair tres interressant et quelle frustration de ne voir qun morceau!!klkun sest til ou se fournir le docu en entier??
jai lu "lettre a sa fille"tres emouvant ..merci a gregory monro en tt cas..
I've only seen Doris Day's portrayal of Calamity Jane but I was intrigued to see other portrayals - Jane Russell, Jean Arthur etc. When Deadwood came out first I was keen to watch it but didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Whoever played CJ in that was very gruff and aggressive, similar to the legend I suppose but maybe because I love Doris Day's Calamity so much I'm inclined to think that way.
Very provocative teaser. I appreciated seeing Jean Arthur's, Doris Day's and Jane Russell's interpretations of the woman to illustrate your points. The real Jane was not a musical comedy persona, but the clips of Doris Day make it clear that there really were some "guts" underlying her portrayal nonetheless.
because why because whe put up with ZERO and woulda kick ass :)

I would love to see the whole documentary! And it would get more publicity if you would allow embedding...
