i have these toilets at my denthtist office . they are in the waiting room . there is no stalls .2 bathrooma the first one had the origional handle and fluidmaster pro fillvalve with plastic down shaft and tilt valves are replaced the flapper has a black ball on it you have to hold down the handle . the second one had the same flapper but no ball on it .

where I went to high school, they had these toilets in a mid 60s built portable classroom until they tore down the building

What kind of fillvalve does that toilet have? That's my favorite model toilet! Did the old handle break? It seems like it's a different one. Thank you.

@jhenry1041 I'm not sure what kind of fill valve it has. Next time I go back I'll check. My guess about the handle is that when they took out the old fill valve, they probably put in an all in one kit (flapper, fill valve, and handle), even though there was probably nothing wrong with the old handle or flapper.

You don't see many American Standards with the full gothic style logo as tank models. Great find.

I was surprised to find it too. You usually see the old tank models with the stack logo.

@sanders8323 Ive seen the tank model with the gothic the majority of the time. Ive seen the stack about four times and the gothic about ten.....

This is probably one of a couple I've seen with the Gothic full name logo. I've seen dozens of Cadets with the stack logo.
