{Plot} McCoy and Uhura had previously been involved a few years before they were on the Enterprise. When they serve on the Enterprise their old feelings begin to resurface and they find it hard to resist each other. To make it a little more complicated, McCoy is involved with Nurse Chapel and Uhura's with Scotty. Not sure how the ending looks but it's up to you.

This was really sweet. I never really saw them as a couple (just as I never saw Spock and Uhura as a couple), and I'm not rethinking my opinion on either one of them, but this was just lovely. Very lovely.

I love Scotty/Uhura, but this is adorable. Positively so. There needs to be more Uhura in the universe, I think. That's not to do with Spock or Kirk.
