thought it might be as i knew it was the east but not pipers vale :) ... gosh i havent been to that gym in years but its nice to see they have some good gymnasts coming through!

i was a little confused when i first saw this too :). american gymnasts only compete the basic 4 aparatuses, not anything like range and conditioning

is the floor music not compulsory for this level? in American gymnastics, all routines are compulsory up to level 7

Oh I see. And yes I do know Kauhajoki, it's smaller town than Yliviska, isn't it. I think that Karen is very talented little girl. Why she changed to rhythmic? Anyway, it's great if she now do something what she really like. I hope Karen do well at competitons, good luck! And thanks for explaining about level system. I think I understand now. ps: I'm sorry about my poor english

I have ever seen anything like that. That girl is amazing. She didn't make any mistakes. I'm gymnastic coach in Finland. Do you live in UK? What kind of levels you have there?

Pohjois-Suomessa, Ylivieskassa (Seuran nimi on Yvoli). Tämä on pieni paikka ja toimintammekin aika pienimuotoista. Oletteko suomalaisia?

Karen's mum is from finland and at the moment (I think) we are ion the same lääni as you are (we are in Kauhajoki).

Karen is in finland with her grandparents at the moment and remarks from Finland are very welcome. She no longer does artistic gymnastics as she stopped amidiatly after the national comp(see videos) She is doing Rhythmic and anjoing it greatly. In UK girls folow levels from 7 to 1 (FIG) where every year they go down a level to remain "in age" (Elite girls only). They start level 7 when they are under 6 and she stopped when she completed her level 4.

Karen trained (and stil train in Rhythmic in South Essex Gymnastics Club which is not a very small club. They are doing very well with Girls Artistics and man gymnastics and the Rhythmic group is very good, as well.
