Instead of implementing BSL (which can destroy responsible, respectable, and ethical breeding programs), why isn't the government shutting these BYB operations down? Let's make it impossible to license puppies from breeders who aren't registered with and inspected by the SPCA. Only breeders who show their dogs in conformation OR are involved in herding/hunting/field trials get licensed. Vets are required to report all unlicensed pups/dogs that come in. Shelter and existing dogs obviously exempt.

im against backyard breeders and puppy farms, but why pick on pitbulls? that last one looked loved and cared for, barking because there were cameras and strange people hanging around his home.

Why are there laws that can take my dog away from me & kill it, just because of it's breed( not because it did anything wrong), but we can't have Laws that Stops BYBs ?

We have to stop the dogs before they are being Born, not after they are born , then spend millions to kill them.

If they disobey, it should be a Felony for each puppy & community service @ the locals shelters ( where their dogs end up)
