The cemetery is historical....... I guess there are no surviving members of the family line in the area. Otherwise, shame on them for not tending to the graves of their ancestors.!
Maybe a person in the community could contact the "Save our Cemeteries" agency (a non-profit agency for saving historical cemeteries) and set up a chapter in the Wheeling area. How about a local Historical Society?
