D.T.-Here's a blast from the past...I have known about your success for some time. I recently came across this string session since my daughter plays violin. I remember the days when I used to suntan in my backyard and I would hear guitar coming out the window...Over the Hills...& Wish You Were Here...I would wonder what's gotten into that boy? You found a few good influences even though they were hard to come by...those K. bros. that played guitar,etc. You crafted a wonderful life musically!

The strings sound so rich, the synth in the album version reminds me of Seal.  JL's album version made me think of Seal's Love's Divine which actually uses less synth than Seal's other songs, yet it has the drums in there even though JL's album version does not. This string session is like a hidden treasure. I saw a few of JL's live performances on the tube without the strings and I really missed them.

Why Didn't they use the Drum Tack on Cd version? I guess they wanted a more melancholy vibe.
