I agree with heroikrobb. There was no way in heck you could take on the wall in the SNES version with health in the mere 1000s. There was also no way in heck that you could take that thing on dishing out damage in the 1000s either, but w/e. Thank goodness I still have a SNES and FF IV to boot.
I am curious, though: What level were your guys when you took on the wall?

Compared to the original SNES wall, this one was really easy. I think when they made this game, they made it much easier, which took the fun out of it.

-
Wow... this Evil Wall was set to "very easy" dificulty
-
Hes a !@#$% on theDS version even with Levi if you have it at that point
-
this is an amzing amount harder on ps1...the demon wall wouldve got to me about half way throught this video..and its attacks do alot more damage.
in fanct i think the demon wall is rediculously slow here. Its meant to be on the hardest rpg fights ever but this version gives it a bad name

you could cast reflect on it if you dont wanna waste time...

dude i got this game for the ds and the demon wall is derasticly more difficult mostly because of its health(300,000hp)

lol my guys r lv 50 and i'm not even at this boss yet
-
And if you played the original version of the Super Famicon, you'd tear your hair since the port we got was easy mode.

The demon wall doesn't move fast enough compared to the SNES version.
I thought this boss was fun :)
