@TalulahCarmichael Helen and Lynley were all wrong for each other. Ah, well... I have hope yet for the books, and as for the series... please. The minute she threw that resignation letter in that fire, they were headed for a romantic relationship. We may not have seen it on the show, but it was inevitable in the best way. They belong to each other.

I remember watching this scene a couple of years back and literally yelling at the screen "JUST TELL HER YOU LOVE HER ALREADY DAMMIT!!!" but now that I've revisited the series and properly watched from the start ima have to say... I'm a Tommy/Helen fan.. Although I liked the Vickerage Helen not the replacement Russel Helen..

USA G& E fan's op: As for Havers and Lindley, I feel H has a crush on him from time to time, egads who wouldn't? But his rank and higher class distinction keeps her back & as for him I think he's head over heels in love with that tall elegant, cold & imposing brown haired Princess Diana Lookalike wife of his...name? lol I think she matches his state in life but she's not very loving to him. LOL! Before the hug, is he hav'n a go at look'n down her shirt at ::20-24? LOL! THANX 4 POSTING THIS! GB.

They are made for eachother :'). Sadly, they never end up together... Well, yeah, there is some chemistry... (Too bad the serie has stopped).

@simplystreeptacular Sadly, no :'( I've only seen one full episode(Well Schooled in Murder), half of another(Payment in Blood), and bits and pieces of others, and I have most of the books(only four left!), but I've always wanted these two to end up together, I've never liked Lady Helen

Oh, God, this scene. Did you see the bit earlier on, where he's like "I'm going in there!" and the team is like "no chance in hell" and then he's like "But it's BARBARA in there!" and the only reason he stays is because he won't endanger her... *swoons*
