I have a really short boyish pixie cut, so my hair is shorter than yours. I just tried this with no hairspray and got a different look, but I like the results. Thanks for the tutorial! I was tired of watching all the guys using gel and stuff that I didn't own or want to own, so yeah. :P

I was wondering: with hair as short as mine, would the small ponytail thing you did at the beginning help a lot? My hair just ended up kinda pointy and not really "faux hawk"-ish. :P
