In late 2009, the Down Syndrome Association of Orange County (DSAOC) formed an alliance with CHOC Childrens Orange Countys world-renowned pediatric hospital to establish a state-of-the-art health care clinic focused on children and adolescents with Down syndrome.
This weekly community-based outpatient clinic provides comprehensive care and referrals to a team of pediatric specialists that assist parents with navigating the complex health care system, while educating referring physicians to best practices and the unique health care needs of children with Down syndrome. The clinic is a model for best practices that can be replicated in other communities.
This clinic has been so successful in its short existence that demand exceeds the clinics current capacity. The DSAOC is working to expand the number of days the clinic operates so that all children with Down syndrome in our community have access to the health care and referrals they need.
I have also Down syndrom baby. Thanks for uploading this types of video on net for people awarness. Thanks............
