Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v, Top Speed Run #3

Fiat Stilo 100 1.6 16v accelerating to its top speed. For this final record-breaking top speed run, the car was taken to a new closed race track with a very long straight. The driver wanted to break the old record of 184 km/h and find out what the real top speed is. After several runs, this Stilo was able to break the old record easily. Now the new speed record for a Stilo 1.6 is 191 km/h. The record was achieved on a flat road. There was no downhill, nor tailwind, to help the car gain more speed. However, the air was very humid making the engine develop slightly less power than it might in optimal temperature/humidity. This car seems to love cool and dry air.

@urll100 Are you sure the road was flat? There is no doubt, you can achieve 218 km/h in 1.6 Stilo, but you maybe need some tailwind and descent (slight, long downhill). Maybe.

@avaruusseikkailu2001 Veikkaan, että oman auton todellinen huippunopeus kiinnostaa ketä tahansa auton omistajaa mopoautoilijasta Bugatti Veyronin omistajaan. Tyydyin selvittämään mihin 1.6 Stilo pystyy oikeasti. Valmistajan lupauksiin kun ei aina voi luottaa.
