ABSTRACT

We'll cover:
-approapriate attire for wilderness activities ("cotton kills")
-how not to get lost :-)

Once lost:
-signaling for assistance (both day and night)
-building land markers to indicate direction
-choosing a location for shelter
-building shelters
-finding and purifying water
-basic medical kit and its use
-basic land navigation (and direction determination) without a compass

this is a great program for anyone i think. I just wish my high school, middle school or elementary school offered at least some type of survival education. It's a lost art and encourage people to practice survival scenarios. peace!

Good advice on survival, The speaker gets a B+ survival savy, a c- for speaking ability. Epi is vaso-peripheral vaso constrictor. (The opposite of what the speaker stated). It is a Brocodialator. EPI is NOT the only drug that will start the heart; i.e. atropine. Maybe he mispoke. Possibly more training in the area of cardiac life support would be indicated before talking about this in the future. I enjoyed this over all, I am a Wilderness EMT and a Paramedic instructor/cordinator

yeah, except not everybody is lost or wants to be found, i'd like to see some videos that are like this but also have hiding and escape techniques and how to evoide detection

im right handed and left eyed, i just hold the rifle left handed but some semi automatic weapons have to be left handed due to the spent cartridge ejection
