Hi. The rally in Silkeborg is in Denmark and Skillingaryd in Sweden. I have sold that truck 2 years ago and I'm now restoring a R142MA from 1985.

Very nicely turned-out truck - and what a sound it has!
Is this in Sweden somewhere???

Very nice truck there although seems to lack a tachometer I would thought it would be a rather vital gauge on trucks.
Oh well still a very nice ol rig there and sounds good too.

Simple beautiful!

Ah, 2 gearsticks? Is the front for the main gears, and the rear for the 'splits'? How many gears has it got? Thanks

Hi. It was my truck, i sold it 2009. Now I can drive an even beautifuler LB76 from 1967, see the videos from the rally in Brilon. Back to my old truck. In the first years there wear no item to see the revolutions of the engine as standard. I think it became standard on trucks with turbo 1965. I had a tachometer to put in the truck but since it was'nt there from the start i didn't. Now I'm restorung a R142MA from 1985 with 388 HP and Blue Cab interior.
Best regards Stefan

Hi. THats right, the stick in front for the main gear box with 5 gears. The stick behind is the split with low and high speed on every gear. THat means 10 gears.

@LBBengtsson Thanks for the info. From the video it looks like both gearboxes are synchronised, is that right? Was this standard for all Scanias of that age?

@CreRay
Hi. Both gear boxes are synchronised. Yes, that was the standrad. From 1968 - in september the 110 Serie got one stick with a small button to manouver high and low range. The first Scania 110 from march to september had also two sticks.

@JakubR500 Hi. Nice you liked my truck, or my ex truck. Sold it last year after 18 years i my hands. Now I'm restoring a 21 year newer one, a R142 MA from -85. It's no Intercooler and has only 358 000 km on the road. The V8 just moves wonderful! But the 15:th of may I will drive Europes nicest LB76, the green and silvery one owned by Börje Jönsson. You can see that one on internet.
