white people, like all the other people on this planet descended from africans. dark skinned africans couldnt absorb enough sunlight in the cold parts of the planet so over many generations they became light skinned.

@robertwc82 Actually the "All people are descended from africans" statement was retracted not long after it was made. In actual fact the most diverse of genealogy and hence the oldest race, turns out to be the Australian Aborigine. This is also backed up by numerous aboriginal skulls that have now been found scattered around the globe, some dating back an extremely long time.

@pokerstaaars I dont know, I wasnt there. What I do know however is that, according to science, the more diversity of genomes, the older the race. The African negro has I think, around 7 different genome types from memory, and the Australian aborigine has over 30. In fact it has the most diversity of genome types in the entire world and there is also the very tell tale fact that aboriginal skulls have also been found on all continents, indicating that they traveled extensively in ancient times.
