  • im going to upgrade my heatsink. i have the i5 2500k, and im wondering if watercooling is worth it. i have seen all of your vids about water cooling and it seems so easy.... so, is it worth it to water cool, or get the noctua because you can get to 5 ghz on sandy bridge with it. my case is the cooler master storm sniper.

    thanks >:D

  • @killerguy1234567 you can only get to 5ghz if your cpu is able to do it dude remember that! Watercooling is for looks imho with a sandy dude because air works just aswell its just slightly warmer.

  • @SauceGhey First thing I'd do is replace the thermal compound. Get some arctic silver 5 and replace the thermal paste you currently have. If you apply it correctly it should fix your problem and cost about £5.

  • I think it's worth mentioning that my computer also has 2 Antec LED Tricool 80mm fans inside it. It has a standard Coolermaster CPU Fan that I bought from a local PC shop years ago to replace my old one that burnt out. I also replaced the heatsink compound between the CPU fan and the CPU about a year and a half ago. I feel that poor ventilation might be more to blame for overheating then the cheap CPU Fan, but I'm not sure. My computer case is basic, and only allows for two mounted fans.

  • I have an older model computer that I am casually upgrading. I get an average idle temperature of 41c but anytime I go to watch a movie or play a game it jumps up to a whopping 75c, sometimes even up to 80c. I've got the Thermaltake Black Widow 850 power supply with a Radeon HD 4350 Video card on a LG755 Motherboard with a Pentium 4 3.0GHz Duo Core CPU. I'm not sure whether I need to buy a higher end CPU Fan or both a new CPU Fan and a better ventilated case. I plan to get the Black Widow Case.

  • @TimeToLiveCustoms i have a fx-4100 i used cpu auto tune from amd and got to 7ghz is this safe the temp was not that much more then normal i use speed fan to watch the temps i also use corsair h80 water cooling but my games act weird at any overclock any suggestiveness

  • what about thermax eclipse II

  • @ukjamie96 clock in RAM. CLOCK / RAM_MHZ = NANOSECOUND REPONSE TIME

  • 3 times X 30min X 2 Units X 2 test ways = shity 6 hours. this guy is serious

  • @Verithiell I'm not sure what CL stands for, but lower is better

  • this shit is almost better than TV!!!11!
