I'm still getting around 20mpg highway, I replaced the secondaries spring with a stronger spring, dont open up till around 2,700, so they dont ever open at highway speed by chance. I noticed after first replacing with a lighter spring my MPG went down the drain. Thicker spring seems to be just right, good power when needed and decent fuel MPG.
Killer little engine!

@voodoochild69nova 20 mpg is great imagine if you had a 700r4 transmission or even 200r4 and 277 gears wow the mileage would be like 30 + mpg !!

Seriously! I dont get why people get all hyped up about 30-40mpg hybrids when technology as old as this could be tweaked and tuned to put out similar results...
Im thinking a little more get up and go with this ride, 4:11 gears, 12 bolt rear end, 700r4 so I could still make decent RPMs on highway. I heard that's a killer combo to get these 6 bangers to shine
