That sound is wonderful!

Did you have the engine dynoed, just curious how much power the hot cam made in a 5.3?

So awesome. Great build. I have respect for anyone that actually builds a car instead of just buying.

I ended up with a Mallory 110. I had a Holley on it but the whine from it was awful. You could hear it over the engine. I've had no trouble with the Mallory so far. Much nicer mount than the Holley and Quiet!!!!

How much vacuum does it make at idle with that cam? Enough for the power brakes?

I'm not sure but I'm running disk all around and I have no issues with the power brakes at all. I've had it on the road since August and it stops nicely.
