That group comes from an epoque when the mexican people wasn`t proud tobe themselves, this kind of group takes the ballet technique and adds some mexican expression, it doesn't, necesary, represents the traditional mexican population, this isn´t the real folklore it has been created to please another interests, its a kind of theater play

I think you are correct in saying that this is a "theater" performance and it is done for the tourists visiting your country. We enjoyed your video of a more modern Folk performance and it is proof that Folk talent is always progressing.
For our viewers, I think you will enjoy the more historic talent shown here and I suggest you go to Robert's site and see a great perfomance of modern Folk music.
