@Vanitas61 you can set your preferred species to elite in the start menu, which lets you be an elite more often.

Can anyone tell me something? In Halo 3 you could be an elite pretty much anywhere, and the ability to be one in Reach is very limited to things such as Invasion and Elite slayer (Elite slayer wich has to be voted for) I'd really like to know why because I use the elite character model.
