I don't need a smart adapter. I will be doing manual focus, etc... Its for shooting videos.

I know, the NOVOFLEX is over the top. For that I just go and buy a Canon Normal EF 50mm f/1.8 II Autofocus Lens or a Wide Angle EF 35mm f/2.0 Autofocus Lens

My T2i will be rigged with follow focus.. (Thats another thing way over top with the $) So old prime lenses are fine, I just need a simple lens adapter. Guys have more options.. I want to go to the store but its 1hr away.

  • @Seanrfromunique Can you re send this as a PM!??

WHen I called the store for a lens adapter I did not ask for a spesific brand.. I said I want to use my Nikkor f/1.8 50mm on my Canon EOS T2i and they said they don't have those kinds of adapters.. This is not a prank or a way to discredit the store but I need to find what I can get from BH. at your UPStore. ANd this commercial is telling me I can but when I call I get another response. I'm glad you took the time for replying to me.

  • We are always appreciative to receive suggestion for improvement as well as request for products that we currently do not carry from current and potential customers.

I will encourage you to call me at any time to discuss any requests you may have for products that we do not carry.

  • A huge price difference for sure, but the quality speaks for itself when you work with both next to each other. The Major difference is if you have Nikon G lenses. Since these lenses have internal aperture controls, with the Bower adapter you will have no control over the aperture settings, where the Novoflex allows for complete control from wide open (F/1.4 to f/22) with variations due to max. aperture for different lenses of course.

  • If you search NFA1006 on Unique Photo's Website you will see the adapter i am referring to.

We are aware of the adapters from other companies like Bower, and again have decided to hold off on bringing them into stock due to quality issues when compared to the Novoflex. There is a large price difference when you compare the two as well, the Bower in question goes for around 42$, while the Novoflex runs around 292$.

  • The main reason behind this is that we have found, when are making the investment into an adapter, the Novoflex adapters allow for an almost seamless transition. In this case between Nikon F mount and Canon EOS. Theses Novoflex adapters allow complete aperture control and more importantly the ability to focus to Infinity ...

  • We are sorry that you were unable to find the Bower Lens adapter for the Nikon - EOS mount. As you may know, lens adapters are sort of a tricky item. There are the in-expensive adapters that simply just mount the lenses to the camera, and there are the "Higher-End" adapter that allow the attached lens to work more like it was intended to. Though Bower makes some decent products, we have chosen to not make their adapters a priority, instead we have gone with Novoflex adapters ...

  • So unique that you can't find a simple Bower ABEOSN Lens Adapter $42.. I have to go to NY still! So what the heck are they talking about that NY stores fear..?.. This is really retarded.. A camera shop store and not a single lens adapter for me to able to use my nikon glass on my Canon body or vice versa.

Are you kidding me? I called and ask for it... "No we don't have those" like going to a farmacy and asking for pain killers and they tell you "huh? no we don't sell that"

  • My brothers in that! the (wow) guy.
