Dude this video. Just. Yes. Exactly. Spike's kind of just..I'm realizing how much he is that Angel isn't. How much he actually sees Buffy, inside, and how much Angel doesn't, won't. Spike doesn't hold himself back at all, really, and though Angel has reasons, he just..he does it wrong. All wrong. And breaks her in the process. Spike..doesn't do that. He does everything for her, everything, anything to be with her. Angel's also the first love which sticks with her but Spike is so much better.

@harmfulsweetz Agreed! Angel brought out the worst in Buffy and brought her so much pain. Spike, oddly enough, brought out compassion in her.

@TrishDis I disagree. Riley was rebound guy. Spike was the one she was meant to be with. Spike loved her without a soul, whereas Angel didn't. She loved Angel, but that was very much first love for her, and the relationship with Spike took a lot longer to develop and build on. They believed in each other when no one else did, and stood together when everyone else sat down. I think that's love.

@emailbecky Angel doesn't need a hero. She's his girl and his her love, she said it herself , she loved him "more than anything in this world".She could never love Spike the same way . For me every relationship she had since Angel is a rebound.
