This is perhaps on of the most underrated albums of all time. Everyone picked up on Turning Japanese and never heard all the other great tunes. News at Ten was my personal fave along with Spring Collection and Trains..these songs fit my mood in the early 1980's as I attended college..sure got me through alot of difficult times. Thanks for the blast.

favorite song for me is sixty second interval which nobody has put up on youtube so i guess im gonna have to make a video for it.

I have all The Vapors work on vynal. They were definatley a top Band. For Drums the best tune has to be Galleries for Guns or Lenina.

We've all heard about "lost" 60's bands but surely The Vapors must be THE lost 80's band. Must admit that until now only ever heard of "Japanese". A very late convert. Where are they now?

We are still enough alike, that I bought some light fixtures off Ebay, and the guy included some newspapers. They were almost identicle to what we have here, except you have to trade the rugby matches for football games.

@civilwarman125 The entire album was flawless. You have no idea how much I loved it. A fan from the US. Just brilliant.

Thanks for the info gerry1, I had no idea they had another album as well. I loved new clear Days in the US when I was a teenager. The whole album was fantastic. (even better than The Sweet) which is a bit much for me to say. Maybe equal.

This album states they were NOT a one hit wonder.

I've never been in Guildford, but "New Clear Days" was a brilliant album, hands down. ;-)

Thanks! They were great and underrated. I like New Clear Days best, but all their songs are damned good!
