My theory is that since GLaDOS is an AI, she could have been replicated and put onto the Borealis before she was activated. Since she went crazy and locked down the Enrichment Center within 3 yottaseconds, the Borealis wouldn't have been alerted to the insanity of GLaDOS and would have been activated.
