  • All right, on the positive side, there is a superlative pulsation of rhythm, every siner is "on time", the unity of the voices, with each entry, is excellent. The pitch is the responsibility of the conductor, but maybe he had a siner or 2, whom he could not improve, in the time given to rehearse?

  • We had a very short time for acoustic rehearshal during the festival... and a lot of emotion during our exibition!!!!

  • NOT out of tune imo. This is an Italian choir, non-professionals, singing. Not the Tallis Scholars. Not Milan Cathderal Choir. Not Germans. Not Kings College Cambridge.

Sing it yourself with friends and post your recording.

This is an authentic rendition of the music. As someone who has sung this from the age of seven (now almost forty(!)) I think it is good. I would love to have been there.

  • Thank you very much. We are not a professional choir, no one of us is a professional singer: we love choral music and have exibitions from over 15 years in Italy and foreign countries.

  • The singers are slightly out of tune. However I can hear you were singing from your heart and you gave a lovely performance. Is this a civic or community chorus?

  • It's not a professional chorus: no one of us is a professional singer. This is a live performance in a very emotional place... maybe we were slighty out of tune, but very emotioned!

  • A little too much vibrato for the style.

  • As I suspected. It is a good group. Just 1 or 2 need a little more pitch trainin, but the production is a good one.

  • If you want to reassure people's emotions, do it with truth.

  • It isn't a matter of opinion. You can actually measure the pitch with pitch meters. Some people are "born" human pitch meters. There is no matter of opinion.

  • great job with this song. my school choir tried it, and although we were a good choir, we could not pull this song off. great job

  • This is one of my favorite Palestrina pieces. While it does sound out of tune to me, in keeping with the message of the original song and who it was written for, I say well done. It's hard to be the emotional with music.
