  • 5:32 AVGN was actually referring to the Sega 32X on that part, not the Sega CD.

  • Ecco the Dolphin on Sega CD has an amazing Soundtrack. That alone made it better than the Genesis version.

  • the avgn saying that the sega cd sucks and pointing out all its flaws is really him being in character like he does in all his videos. although sometimes this annoys me when he says things like that there were no good games on the sega cd because hes kind of misguiding his viewers who wouldn't know any better.

  • I have a sega cd, and it was totally worth it!!!

  • i have that controller =)

  • Nice video. I am currently thinking of getting the system. I currently own a Sega Nomad but not a Genesis, is it worth the investment to get a Genesis and the CD just for its games seeing as I already have the Nomad.

  • And I say this since if people already own the Genesis Game, there's no reason to buy the Sega CD Version which is basically a rehashed port of the game with only very minor updates,I know this is not fully true as there are some Genesis ported games on the Sega CD that did extended using the CD Storage Memory Like Earthworm Jim and I think Mickey Mania and other games.

  • Another thing that I felt that was annoying was the fact that some of the developers just ported genesis games to the Sega CD With only Minor Updates,Mainly the CD-Quality Soundtrack,New Sound effects, and maybe FMV Cutscenes, but everything in the game itself is left the same, I mean I really don't see the point of paying $40 or so for a game that basically only had very minor updates, instead of extending it a bit or so with the CD Storage Memory like what some games did.

  • It's good seeing actual reviewers on youtube and not just annoying people with a shaky camera bitching about how awful retro games are. Seriously, if you don't like them, why are you playing and making videos of them then?

Excellent video, I just bought myself a Sega CD and a lot of games and I can't wait to check out some of these games. Thanks.

  • I'm only using this system for shining force cd lol
