Baseball Fireworks Pittsburgh

The date is May 2, 2009. This is video of Zambelli Fireworks in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania outside of PNC Baseball Park. I tried to capture some of the atmosphere around the park and the fireworks display at the end of the game. If you follow some of my other videos you may recognize some of the buildings in the background. You can see the buildings in more detail in the Skyblast videos I have posted. I used to work as part of this crew so it was enjoyable for me to come down and see the display. While there is no ground zero footage I hope you will still find it enjoyable.
I cut parts of the display out due to time limits.

Look at 7:35. One is shaped like a red heart! Was that just luck?

Those shells are specifically designed in heart patterns. The problem is to see the heart it has to break just right. This is why the best way to shoot a pattern shell is in flights of 4 or more then hope more than one or more break so the viewing audience can see them. There are many different pattern shells out there. I even saw one that looked like a Cat Face. You usually see these pattern shells in more expensive displays because the shells cost more than standard shells.

Thanks! Your video's are fascinating. I have a question. I see a lot of cakes that have paper over the tubes. Wouldn't the cakes work better if the paper/plastic wrap was removed that covers the tubes before firing them?
